For me the MK2SA trek down south has always been a  dream of something to do while still
young travelling and seeing  the word.
As things go 10 years flew past in a
blink of an eye I landed a steady job,
outgrew London, moved  out into the
"country" Milton Keynes, bought a
place to call home and  met the girl
of my dreams. With everything going
well and someone to share my dreams
with the MK2SA trek is now officially on 
and no longer just a dream...


Who would have thought I would embark on a trip like this?  It had never crossed my mind.  When Steven mentioned to me that this
was one of his dreams, it made me start
to think.  What an opportunity, so many experiences – would I cope?  All those
insects, no 5 star hotels, wearing the
same clothes day in day out and what
about my hair?! Here we go .... go ....go  

We are Suili and Steven, and have decided to embark on a trip of a lifetime, gaining experiences and memories along the way which we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.  Armed with a sense of adventure, a common enjoyment of travel  and the knowledge that we are not getting any younger we decided on destination  Africa ....

We are aiming to drive from Milton Keynes to South Africa (MK2SA)  via the more commonly travelled east African route in Mabel our trusty  300Tdi rust bucket on wheels.
